Community Guidelines
PathologiQ by SAVN · Effective date: October 19, 2026 · Last updated: October 21, 2026
Leexa is where healthcare professionals, students and educators connect, share educational information and discuss medicine. These guidelines summarize how to take part. They are part of our Terms of Use (Section 7), which govern if anything here differs.
Never share identifiable patient information. That includes names, faces, medical-record identifiers, contact details, dates, locations, images, or combinations of case details that could identify a patient. Removing a name alone may not be enough to de-identify a case.
Share responsibly
- Post only content you have the right to share, and respect others' intellectual property and privacy.
- Keep discussions educational. Leexa is not a place to manage a real patient or an emergency.
- Be honest about who you are. Don't impersonate others or misstate your qualifications or credentials.
What isn't allowed
- Identifiable patient information or confidential clinical records.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, hate speech, or targeted abuse.
- Sexually explicit material, unlawful content, or graphic violence unrelated to a legitimate permitted purpose.
- Spam, fraudulent promotions, undisclosed commercial advertising, or deceptive solicitations.
- Material that infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Impersonation, fraudulent credentials, or misleading claims about professional qualifications.
- Dangerous medical misinformation knowingly presented as established fact.
- Malicious links, harmful files, or content intended to compromise another user's security.
Good-faith scientific discussion, reasonable disagreement and legitimate educational debate are welcome when they're respectful.
Reporting and blocking
You can report posts, comments, stories, messages, profiles or members with the reporting tools in the app, and block other members. We aim to review reports promptly and, where practicable, within 24 hours; reports involving safety or possible patient information may be prioritized.
What happens when guidelines are broken
Depending on the situation, we may remove content, issue a warning, limit features, or suspend or terminate an account. Serious violations may lead to immediate action where the law allows.
Appeals
If you think content was removed or an account restricted by mistake, email pathologiq@gmail.com with the subject line “Moderation Appeal”, including your account details, the action you're appealing and why.
